The W.V.B.A. stands for World Video Boxing Association. It is the world`s toughest boxing organization where only real champs of the fists are present.

The association is structured hierarchically. It consists of three level that can be interpreted as leagues. The higher you get within this system the better and stronger your opponents get.

The W.V.B.A. is organized by the champ and challenger principle. This means that each league is ruled by a level champion and a challenger that wants to fight the champion must box his way up against the other challengers that are ranked higher. If you loose a challenger match you are allowed to rematch (not always) after another defeat you are ranked down.

The three levels:

A. Minor Circuit
Little Mac starts in that Circuit as it is the basic league of the W.V.B.A.
The Minor Circuit is the springboard  place for many great boxing careers. Any boxer of the W.V.B.A. has made his very first steps in the ring in that league. Unfortunately some unlucky ones never get the edge and stay in that circuit for their whole career. But as Little Mac wants to get heavyweight champion of the world he has to get first of all champion of the Minor Circuit.

B. Major Circuit
When Little Mac has won the W.V.B.A. Minor Circuit title bout he is allowed to compete in the next league. The opponents get tougher and they have also some unique strategies and tricks. The strangest character is the well known tropical chief King Hippo. The Major Circuit champ Bald Bull 1 is a hard to beat one, for sure. Beware his Bull Charge!

C. World Circuit
The very best competitors fight in the World Circuit. Six boxers from around the world with three guys giving their second appearance. Defeating Super Macho Man, Little Mac gets the W.V.B.A. World Circuit Belt and the W.V.B.A. World Cup.

D. The Dream Fight
When Little Mac has climbed the top of the W.V.B.A. he has the honor to fight the ultimate opponent. Depending on what cartridge you play Little Mac boxes against Kid Dynamite, Mike Tyson or The Legendary, Mr. Dream. But be aware that Mac has only one chance to win this fight. When Mac is defeated he is ranked down to GAME OVER.

E. Another World Circuit
There is a hidden circuit in the cartridge. Type in 135 792 4680 hold down Select and press A+B simultaneously. Little Mac is teleported to Another World Circuit. In this circuit Mac has to beat nine opponents. But watch out!! There is no second (and third chance). One KO! or TKO means Game Over for Little Mac.
