Celebrate good times, come on! Celebration is an energetic and fun - yet very long - live show based on the very popular song of the same name. When Celebration was re-released in January 2000 with Chuck E's Variety Show, there was no new video footage or voice recordings, and this was the last time CEC decided to use an older live than to remake it. You will notice lives after Celebration are remakes with new voices and video footage.
I thought this was really cool: When you programmed Celebration with the Variety Show, there was a five minute countdown with a 'real life' version of stage manager Larry. The countdowns were really great ideas...it gave costume characters and birthday parties plenty of time to prepare...and Larry was pretty goofy!
This live show came with Chuck E's Variety Show (Jan 00), but it was only valid in January. Bingo replaced it in February, but in the Studio C version Celebration played from January 2000 - March 2000. Thanks to Danny Eyheralde for the info!
Celebration is a real party song and was a blast to perform! You can get really into it as a costume character...but I noticed at my store that some of my Chuckettes really had a hard time following the training video and doing a routine. But it was still a great live with the funny countdown! Two paws up to celebrate!
