The following is a list of answers to questions and topics that all relate to the Showbiz Podcast. Of course, not every question is included here. If there's a question you have regarding the University that's not answered below, please feel free to contact a member of our Staff for help.
What is Showbiz Podcast?
Showbiz Podcast was our solution to the loss of Radio Showbiz LIVE! The new podcast feature enables us to deliver site/forum/community news, either at your computer or on the go. Simply visit our YouTube channel for the complete collection of shows or download the mp3 of the latest show on the podcast homepage.
Why did the show move to YouTube?
The transition to YouTube was in the works for a long time. It allows us to reach a wider audience while allowing more interactivity for our current listeners. Also, we're able to make a bigger impact with the possibility of video segments and announcements placed throughout the show.
Everyone is strongly encouraged to SUBSCRIBE to our channel to recieve the latest shows and updates! Please visit us at www.youtube.com/ShowbizPodcast
Do I need a high-speed connection to listen?
Luckily, a high-speed connection is not required. The "podcast" is both a YouTube video an mp3 download, just like a music file. It may take a little longer to download on dial-up connections but everyone is able to listen.
When will the next episode be posted?
Typically, a new show will be posted monthly. However, it all depends on the schedule of the hosts and the amount of material we have to report. Listener submissions are strongly encouraged. (See below.)
What type of content should I submit?
Anything related to our community! Seriously. The reports our listeners send keep the show interesting.
Have community-related news to share? Send it in!
Going on a trip/store crawl? Send it in!
Found an undiscovered RAE location? Send it in!
Show owners- keep us up-to-date with your progress! so...Send it in!

Definitely! We've made it even easier by opening the "Podcast Hotline". You can call the hotline directly (312.285.0359) and record your message! We only have two submission requirements:
- Keep it short and sweet!
- Keep it friendly!
Are there any special requirements in order to win one of the prizes/giveaways?
The only real requirement is that you're registered on ShowBizPizzaForum.com
We encourage ALL fans to register. After all, it's free! The only restriction is the winner can not be on the SP.com staff. Sorry staff members, these contests are for our members.
